Type
of Glass - available a large variety of flat glasses for
lighting and architectural uses. These can be prismatic or clear
as well as tempered or other specialty heat resistant or safety
laminated panels. Cold screening and printing is also available
for various projects. |
 |
Etching
- creating etch patterns or logos using any of three different
methods; acid etching, sandblasting or using special films.
Each will render a slightly different surface appearance with
different attributes. |
 |
Tinting
- shade or tint a clear glass or acrylic panel using transparent
colors over the entire piece or specific areas. These shades
can be made lighter or darker for your application. |
 |
Colored
Glass & Acrylic - solid or transparent colors create
ideal background panels. |
|
 |
Acrylic
- is a clear extruded sheet some people refer to as Plexiglas®,
which is a different brand of a similar material. Acrylic is
one of the hardest forms of clear plastic and is much harder
to scratch or gouge than polycarbonate (another clear plastic
material). Acrylic has excellent UV properties, meaning it is
very clear and will not yellow unless under the most extreme
circumstances. The biggest advantage of acrylic is its strength.
Acrylic is about five times stronger than glass and is extremely
hard to break with side impact. |
 |
Non-Reflective
Acrylic - used to increase impact in sunny windows or to
reduce the glare from spot lighting. |
 |
Sandblasted
Glass & Acrylic
- creates unusual effects and does not show the dust. Creates
impressive screens and background panels. |
