Composition and Materials
Aluminum profiles and the majority of interlocking components are crafted from high-grade aluminum alloy using the cold extrusion method. This manufacturing process results in products with exceptional strength, close tolerances, and a robust surface finish. As a standard offering, all our profiles come in a Clear Satin Anodized finish, which provides both a sleek appearance and added protection. Additionally, we offer the option of color powder coating upon request, allowing for further customization to suit specific design preferences. Our color powder coating service provides access to a diverse selection of over two dozen colored swatches and options, ensuring that our customers have the flexibility to choose the perfect finish for their projects.
Aluminum Modular Extrusions/Profiles come in Clear Satin Anodized Finish — the aluminum is treated through an anodizing process that converts the aluminum surface into a decorative, durable, corrosion-resistant, anodic oxide finish. This thicker layer of anodic oxide makes the aluminum stronger and able to withstand damage. Color powder coating is also available upon request. There are a few dozens swatches / color options from which to choose. Clear Satin Anodized is the only standard/stock finish.

Precautions / Performance and Safety
Aluminum components are prized for their lightweight nature, strength, corrosion resistance, durability, and formability, making them widely utilized in engineering applications. Despite these qualities, it is important to handle and clean aluminum with care to maintain its integrity. To prevent staining and damage, avoid scraping against hard or sharp surfaces, refrain from dragging or throwing components, and use soft slings when lifting heavy parts. Regular cleaning is also essential to remove any buildup or dirt, as prolonged grime exposure may lead to staining. Depending on the extent of staining, cleaning with plain water and mild soap/detergent or a non-etching chemical cleaner is recommended.
Environmental Considerations
Aluminum Modular Systems are recyclable and have a low-impact on the environment beginning with the planning/ design stages. Most components are fabricated from aluminum — non-ferrous recycling metal. With close to 100 percent recyclable content, aluminum can be repeatedly recycled into similar or other products with no loss of quality, as reprocessing does not damage their molecular structure.
